Yes! It’s very important you register your card on our website! If your card is lost, faulty or stolen and your card is not registered, we will be unable to replace your card and the funds will have been lost. If your card is registered, you have the option to report your card as lost, faulty or stolen, check your balance and look at your transaction history.
Once you register a gift card an account is created with your email address.
Even if you stop using that card, the account is still there. If you want to register a new card you can do this be logging into your account and adding a new card in the ‘Registered Gift Cards’ section.

Yes. You will need to register this to your cards.asda.com account first using the card number and pin number. You will then be able to top up your e-gift card. The maximum balance allowed on an e-gift card is £300.
No. You can present your e-gift card on a mobile device as long as the screen is clear.
You can spend it online at groceries.asda.com or george.com by entering the card number and pin number. You can spend it in store at any checkout type by showing it on your phone or bringing a print out. If using our self-scan checkouts, please select other payment types after you’ve scanned your shopping and choose gift card.
You can use our balance checker on cards.asda.com and enter the card number and pin. Alternatively you can save it to your cards.asda.com account where you can check the balance.
Yes, if you have already registered, you will be able to see the transaction history for your card in your account.
If you haven’t registered your card on our website, you can register from the home page. Once registered, you will be able to see the transactions on your account.

Don’t worry, as long as you’ve registered your card on our website, you’re covered!
Please log into your account and click on the ‘cancel card’ button under the card you wish to report as lost, faulty or stolen.
Once you’ve done this, the funds on the card will be void and unusable. We will send out a new card to you for the balance you had left of the card when you reported it to us. This will take 7-10 working days to arrive with you.
Please make sure when you received your new card, you log back into your account and register your new card.
We’re sorry to say, if you have not registered your card with us, we cannot replace your card.
We work hard to stop fraud so all our cards are monitored for unusual activity. Your card will have been locked either because it displayed erratic spending behaviour that was out of the ordinary, or because it has been used before any money has been loaded onto it.

If you have registered your gift card online already, please log into your account and report your card as faulty in the ‘Registered Gift Cards’ section. We will then post out a replacement to you within 7-10 working days.

A Christmas Savings Card is a really good way of saving and spreading the cost of Christmas throughout the year. You can save up to £485 on the card, and as a thank you we’ll give you a bonus in November. The bonus ranges from £1 to £15 depending on how much is on the card on bonus day. This will automatically be added to the card.
A Pocket Money Card is a great way for your child to save their pocket money. You can load as much money onto the card as often as you like, just like a normal Asda Gift Card. Once their card is registered they will then have the chance to log in and check their balance and transactions.

To receive a bonus in November, simply make sure you have your savings on the Christmas Savings Card for the ‘Bonus Day’ which is always in November.

In store, valid refunds will be put back onto a gift card for you to use again in store. If you return an order placed on George.com, the amount that was paid by gift card will be reimbursed to the gift card you used.
Yes. Any refunds will be applied back to the gift card you paid with so we recommend you hold on to the card just in case. As a registered George.com customer the gift card number saves to your George.com account so in the event a gift card is applied you can re-spend this gift card balance on George.com without the physical card.
